The learning objectives from this debate are to identify one advantage and disadvantage of an Echocardiography guided transseptal puncture; identify one advantage and disadvantage of Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE) guided transseptal puncture; and to determine the role of ICE during transseptal catheterization.
